The Campaign for Excellence is a chance for individuals and businesses to provide financial support to a wide variety of worthwhile activities and programs through the entire school district. With the money raised each year, grants are made available and awarded for the benefit all of District 41’s schools, classrooms, teams, and activities. This past year, grants were approved for items such as:

- Earl Hanson - Operation Safe Space/Comfort Corner
- Rock Island High School - Career Day
- Rock Island High School Boys Soccer - Warmups
- Rock Island High School - Pre-Game Music
- Washington & Edison Junior High Schools - Girls Wrestling Uniforms
- Thurgood Marshall Learning Center - Trip to Washington D.C.
